Shoulder & Elbow Management

Anyone who has ever tried to soldier on with a shoulder or arm injury knows how debilitating and exhausting this can be. Humans spend many hours of their days carrying loads, extending their arms and rotating their shoulders in order to perform basic functions like cooking, showering, gardening, lifting young children or walking the dog on a lead.

Many common occupations, work environments, leisure or sporting activities and accidents have a high incidence of shoulder and upper limb soreness or aggravating symptoms. The prevalence of upper limb presentations commonly include;

  • Ball sports including; football, soccer, baseball, netball, tennis, badminton, bowling, cricket, 10 pin bowling, softball, hockey, rugby
  • Track & field disciplines including; shot put, javelin, pole vault & discus

  • Workplace accident or occupational overuse injury;
